Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule which released worldwide on December 5, had a phenomenal weekend as it crossed the Rs 800 crore mark worldwide. However, the film witnessed a drop in its collections on Monday. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 saw a 55% drop in collections on Monday. It earned Rs 64.1 crore, taking the net domestic collection to Rs 593.1 crore.
Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 5: Allu Arjun Starrer Witnesses 55% Drop On Monday; Surpasses Rs 900 Crore Mark Worldwide
Pushpa 2's worldwide collection crossed the Rs 900 crore mark on the fifth day of its release.
Pushpa 2 has earned more from its Hindi version than the Telugu version. It earned 331.7 crore from its Hindi shows and Rs 211.7 crore from its Telugu shows.
Pushpa 2’s Tamil version raked in Rs 34.45 crore, Malayalam version Rs 11.2 crore and Kannada Rs 4.05 crore, respectively.
The Sukumar directorial recorded a 38.33 % occupancy rate across its Telugu shows and 40.11% occupancy across its Hindi shows.
Talking about the global collection, Pushpa 2's worldwide collection crossed the Rs 900 crore mark on the fifth day of its release. With this, it has surpassed the lifetime worldwide collection of Shraddha Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2, which stands at Rs 874.58 crore. Pushpa 2 is expected to enter the coveted Rs 1000 crore club within a week.
Apart from Allu Arjun, Pushpa 2 also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Rao Ramesh, and Anasuya Bharadwaj in significant roles.
