The Syrian government appeared to have fallen early Sunday in a stunning end to the 50-year rule of the Assad family after a sudden rebel offensive sprinted across government-held territory and entered the capital in 10 days. Representing various farmer organisations in Punjab, a group of 101 farmers began marching towards Delhi as part of their protest that started on Sunday.

•  J&K: Policeman Shoots Colleague Before Allegedly Killing Himself

The bodies of two policemen were found in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district on Sunday and reports suggest that one of them killed the other with an AK-47 assault rifle before he allegedly killed himself with the same weapon.

• 2nd Test: India Go Down In Pink Ball Match As Australia Win By 10 Wickets In Adelaide

India struggled to bat in both innings and made five runs less in the second innings of the Pink Ball Test match against Australia at Adelaide Oval which resulted in a 10-wicket loss on Day 3 of the match on Sunday.
