Farmers To March Towards Delhi Today| Know Their Key Demands

Farmers from multiple districts in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana are set to march towards the Parliament complex in Delhi on Monday, to demand compensation and benefits under new agricultural laws. The protest, organized by the Bhartiya Kisan Parishad (BKP), is expected to cause major traffic disruptions in the Delhi-NCR region.

The march, led by BKP leader Sukhbir Khalifa, will begin at noon from the Mahamaya flyover in Noida. Farmers from 20 districts, including Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, and Agra, will participate in the protest. They will march towards Delhi on foot and in tractors to press for their demands, including changes to compensation rates for acquired land and improved rehabilitation measures for landless farmers. The push is among their strongest in years, in a war whose destabilising effects have rippled far beyond Syria’s borders.

Rebel groups in northwestern Syria say they are advancing toward the city of Hama after taking control of Aleppo in an offensive that began last week. Meanwhile,The White Helmets, officially known as the Syrian Civil Defence, reported that at least 25 people, including 10 children, were killed in airstrikes carried out by Syrian and Russian forces on Sunday, during the counterattacks. Dozens of soccer fans, including children, were killed in a stampede that followed clashes during a soccer match in southern Guinea's largest city, local media and a political coalition reported late Sunday.
