Pushpa 2: The Rule released worldwide on December 5. The Allu Arjun-Rashmika Mandanna starrer had a phenomenal start at the box office with a record-breaking opening. The film earned Rs 175 crore nett across all languages in India. Also, on day 2, it earned well as the actioner collected Rs 90.1 crore nett in India, as per industry tracker Sacnilk. The two-day collections of Pushpa 2 now stand at Rs 265 crore nett in India.

On day 2, the Telugu version of Pushpa 2 made Rs 27.1 crore, Hindi version minted Rs 55 crore, Tamil version raked in Rs 5.5 crore, Malayalam version earned Rs 1.9 crore and the Kannada version collected Rs 60 lakh. The Hindi version has already made more money than Telugu as the Hindi collections stand at Rs 125.3 crore and the Telugu version has collected Rs 118.05 crore.

Pushpa 2 witnessed an overall Telugu occupancy of 53 percent, with more occupancy during the night shows. Hyderabad had 65 percent occupancy with 1009 shows, while Bengaluru saw 48.75 percent occupancy with 842 shows. It had an overall Hindi occupancy of 51.65 percent on the second day. Mumbai had maximum occupancy of 59.50 percent with 1523 shows while the Delhi-NCR region saw 50.25 percent occupancy for 1741 shows.

As per trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, Pushpa 2 has grossed Rs 417.5 crore worldwide in two days. 

Pushpa 2 is the second installment of 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise which grossed Rs 393.50 crore worldwide and emerged as the highest-grossing Indian film of 2021.

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 also starred Fahadh Faasil reprising his role as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.
