Star West Indies all-rounder Deandra Dottin, England skipper Heather Knight and New Zealand fast bowler Lea Tahuhu will be some of the top international stars who will be up for bidding at the mini auction. As for the Indian names to watch out for, leg-spinner Poonam Yadav, all-rounder Sneh Rana and batter Veda Krishnamurthy will seek bidders.
Gujarat Giants, who finished at the bottom in the first two WPL editions, will have the most cash in hand, INR 4.4 crore, as they released seven players from their roster. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals, who were runners-up in 2023 and 2024, have the smallest purse of INR 2.5 crores.
