In light of the incident, Section 144 (gathering of not more than four people) has been imposed in Galudih, Chattabad and Akash Kinari.
Recently a similar incident was reported when a battery charger of an?e-rickshaw's was stolen in the Katras police station area in Dhanbad.
According to police, there was a heated argument over the theft, which then escalated into a clash.
The two groups attacked by pelting stones and throwing bombs at each other.
Police rushed to the spot as soon as they received information about the incident.
Later, more forces have been deployed to prevent further violence.
