Most other cities have a waiting period of 10 to 15 days. The most waiting period you will face will be 20 days in Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, Lucknow or Faridabad.

Xcent: If you want a small sedan instead of a hatchback and are looking at the Xcent, you will face no waiting period in New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune or Coimbatore. Cities like Chennai, Bangalore, Thane and Surat have a waiting period of 10 to 15 days while the most waiting period on the Xcent is in Ahmedabad (21 days).

Elantra: The Elantra can be had without any waiting period in New Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Ghaziabad or Coimbatore. Most other cities have a 10 to 20 day waiting period while the longest waiting period of 30 days is in Ahmedabad.

Venue: Hyundai’s latest SUV is in demand and the only city you can have it in without incurring a waiting period is Mumbai. Other metro cities like New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Chennai have a waiting period as low as 10 days but could go up to 45 days depending on the colour or variant. In most cities, you will be able to get your hands on the Venue in 15 days to 45 days. The maximum waiting period you will face will be in Indore, Noida and Bangalore.

Creta: The Creta has been a popular choice among SUV buyers since it was launched and its waiting period reflects the same fact. Only in Mumbai and Ghaziabad can you actually buy a Creta without a waiting period. Most cities have a 10 to 45 days waiting period and if you are looking to get your hands on one in Gurgaon, it will take three months!

Tucson: If Hyundai’s biggest SUV in India is what you desire, you won’t face a waiting period in Hyderabad, Pune or Coimbatore. Most other cities have a 10 to 20 days waiting period on the Tucson and the maximum time to get your hands on one will be 45 days, that is if you live in Ghaziabad.
