The Ranbir Kapoor-starrer ‘Animal’, which released on December 1, is still raking in moolah despite the fact that it was released around 40 days ago. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial, on Monday, collected Rs 35 lakh. And as the film continues to get love from the audience, the makers of ‘Animal’ have now shared that the? ticket prices have been dropped to Rs 100. The move is certainly aimed to increase viewership of the Sandeep Reddy Vanga film.
‘Animal’ Box Office Collection: Ranbir Kapoor’s Enters Rs 900 Crore Club, Ticket Prices Cut Down To Rs 100
The film's production house on Tuesday revealed that the tickets for the Ranbir Kapoor starrer have been reduced to Rs 100.
The film’s domestic box office collection stands at Rs 550.85 crore nett. Worldwide, the film is inching closer to Rs 900 crore milestone. It has collected Rs 899.9 crore already and on Tuesday, it would easily enter the prestigious club. Ahead of it, Shah Rukh Khan‘s films have the highest collections worldwide with ‘Jawan’ (Rs 1,148 crore) and ‘Pathaan’ (Rs 1050 crore) among the top grossers. ‘Animal’, however, is still away from those numbers.?
Nonetheless, the film did emerge to be a massive hit despite a box office clash with Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Sam Bahadur’. With an ‘A’ certificate and a runtime of nearly three and half hours, the film has been hugely loved by the audience. As for its box office collections, the film saw a challenge once Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki’ and Prabhas starrer ‘Salaar’ released on Christmas.
Now, viewers are interested in the film’s OTT release as well, with reports now hinting that it would stream on Netflix in January 2024. However, the final date and details are yet to be announced.of it are yet to be announced.?
Despite its box office success, ‘Animal’ has been slammed by the audience for being?misogynistic and violent. Speaking at the success bash on Saturday (January 6), Ranbir addressed this and he said, “I want to thank all of you for being here today to celebrate Animal. It is a film that a section of people had an issue with but I feel the kind of love, success and the numbers (it has received) proves that nothing goes beyond the love for a movie. Nothing goes beyond movies.”
Apart from Ranbir, the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri.
