Comedian Katt Williams Gives His Honest Opinion On Kanye West; Compares Him To Someone With 'Special Needs'

In an interview with Shannon Sharpe, comedian Katt Williams expressed his views on Kanye West and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

We're all aware of Kanye West's controversial antics. He has been making the news for his anti-Semitic comments, yet again. There have been a few people, over the years, who?have come out and spoken against the rapper's statements.?Joining the list is comedian Katt Williams.

Williams, during his latest interview with Shannon Sharpe, got candid about his views on West. The comedian, 52, elaborated on his views about the rapper's behaviour. Williams even went as far as comparing the 46-year-old rapper to a person with “mental illness.” Furthermore, he also criticised Kanye’s ex-wife,?Kim Kardashian.

The 'Club Shay Shay' podcaster asked the comedian?to give his opinion on the 'Flashing Lights' rapper “from a distance.” Williams began by saying, “I suspect that we’re pretty awful people if we say that somebody got a mental illness, and then we watch what they do.”

He continued, “If you say somebody got special needs, then why would you be watching them and holding them accountable like everybody else? Wouldn’t you grade them on a curve? Wouldn’t you go, ‘Whew, this guy?’”

Williams then went on to elaborate on his comparison of Kanye and someone with "special needs." He said,?“Because, I mean, what are we reacting to? What are we reacting to? You are the one that put him in a position where he thought he was God and could call himself Yeezus. You’re the one that told the guy that writes musical lyrics that he was a genius.”

The comedian, who has bagged an Emmy Award, briefly commented on West's ex-wife, and internet personality Kim Kardashian.?“What do you expect? The guy married a wh**e,” Williams said in reference to their marriage.?“I didn’t mean it like that. I mean, he married her because she was one, not that he didn’t know,” he continued, adding, “He understood that he wanted that. He courted that. That’s what he wanted to be base his family on.”

Irrespective of his honest views about Kanye,?Williams?doesn't want to nor does he intend to?“support or villainize” the?rapper. “..because I don’t understand what it is we want from him,” he explained.
